God gave us His word as a guide for living and as a message for sharing. Let us, therefore, read God's word everyday in 2007.

I am following Jesus as the Lord of my life. I have been baptized into Christ and am now striving to walk closely with him.  I know I need to improve myself if I am to be a better Christian and to run a Christ-honoring company. But I have made it my purpose in 2007 to read His word, apply it to my life, and to encourage everyone I can, to talk to others about Jesus this year.

My Daughter died in 2005.   Reading God's word has given me a lot of comfort.  About one year before she passed she agreed to add the words, "Read Your Bible" to her brother's headstone.   I now try my best to read my Bible everyday, not just because of her death, but also because it is the word of God.  Christians need to set a good example so that we truly beleive what we say.

My Point:  Keep trying to perfect God's will in your life through the study and application of His word. Help and encourage your Christian brothers and sisters as they strive to do the same, for they are your family. God's word warns us that we don't truly know how much time any of us have on earth. "You do not know what your life will be like tommorrow. You are like a vapor that is here for a little while and then vanishes away, " (James 4:14).

So please, READ God's word and SHARE God's word with those whom you know and don't know. Pray about it!  Never give up the fight!
